If I want a new website, should I contact a web design firm or a web development firm?
Making a website has 2 steps involved; Website Design and Website Development. The website design phase is the first step and the layout for a website is planned in this phase. Once the final layout is approved by the client, then we move on to the web development phase. In this phase, the design is converted to HTML and the website is completed by adding new pages. Content is also added to the site and a working website is delivered to the client.
The cost depends entirely on the services you want and the client requirements. The cost also depends on a number of factors, which include the number of pages required in a website, the graphical elements which have to be added, whether you want to sell products online, if a content management system is required or not, and several others. How long does it take for a website to be made?
The website design and development process can take 2 - 6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the project and also on the client requirements. Some delays arise as we have to wait for client feedback on everything we do. Smaller websites take a maximum of 2 weeks, while large web portals and e-commerce solutions can take more time.
What would you need from me if I want a website made?
We will need initial input from you in terms of what kind of website you want, if you have any logo, images or any other material which you want added on your website. We will also need regular feedback from you as we work on your website. In some websites, we will need content and data to be provided by the client, for example in an ecommerce website, we will need product information and details from the client.
What if I do not like the web site design you give me?
We provide 3 - 4 initial website mock-ups to clients to choose a design of their choice. We provide 2 - 3 revisions to the design which the client wants to go with. If you still do not like our work, we will go over with your requirements again to understand your requirements. We do our best to satisfy our clients and meet their requirements.

How will I update my website pages?
For large websites, we develop custom content management systems which help you will easy updates of your website. Smaller sites can also be updated using FTP.
FTP is an Acronym for "File Transfer Protocol" and is used to upload files from your local PC to the web server which is provided by your web hosting company. The web hosting company will provide you a URL and FTP login details which you can use to access your files on the server.
Will you make a Search Engine Friendly website for me?
